Alyx 

The story of Alyx takes place during the events of the "Rescenance Cascade" in HL1,
to the beginnings of HL2.

The game starts off as you, playing as Azian whilst giving birth to Alyx as Eli
is standing next to Azian as she is in labour, overwhelmingness of Alyx's health
and Azian's birth is the key frame of the happy family at this time.

Roughly 10 minutes of the game would be of Alyx in her childhood
and how her Dad would tell stories about Gordon and her mother, Azian.

As a child, you have dreams...  so many I remember that are special to me, so something I wanted
to have in this game was to have the ability to roam around inside the dreams and make your own worlds
and it has a certain limit to how much you can build (and it must be relevant to the current time of the story).

Alyx would have nightmares of Xen, her mother being killed by the Aliens, a thing I wanted to do in the mod
was to spawn off the theory that Alyx's mother could still be very-well alive, and have
alternate decisions of her fate as you interact with the worlds.
The teleportation system that had worked on her and only her during the test that went wrong at the beginning of HL1, 
how she survived would be explained as the story develops.

During Alyx's childhood, Eli would tell stories of Gordon as godlike, ruthless, courageous.
Alyx as a kid would imagine him as the Superman of her generation, drawing pictures of him,
dreaming about him, replay the stories of Eli's in a re-enactment with her friends, and her developing 
a crush on him.

As Alyx used to go to ravenholm before the combine, I had an idea of adding a park and several real-Estate
houses that were under construction until the combine had invaded.

In Alyx's teen years, she develops a crush on a blind boy (circa Episode 3), and in the game you will
interact with D0G as he teaches you sign language, and you would hang around with Alyx's crush...  this would all
take place during the mod.  (Alyx would add more builds to dog as she got older, first model was up to her Adult waist).

Scenes from HL2 would also be implamented inside the mod, with Alyx getting recent flashbacks when she is working 
with Gordon.

During her teen years she would be aggresive with her father, and how she blamed her father for her mother dying
(far-fetched?  I think not, teenagers come up with the most amazing shit sometimes), and how he wasn't paying
close attention to the testing of the chamber with Gordon inside it, Alyx was 8 years old during the cascade...  she still 
remembers the sounds and screamings of that day (nearly traumatized).



This is just a brief draft I wanted to post here, Alyx is an interesting character to me and would like things
to be explored with her much more diversely.
